DISMISSED: Appeal against refusal of second planning application for new development at Town Furze

On 12 December 2017 the second planning application for the land west of 75 Town Furze (shown above), which is directly above the Lye Valley South Fen, was refused. This was for “Erection of 2 x 3-bed and 2 x 4-bed dwellinghouses (Use Class C3)”. On 30 August 2018 the applicant launched an appeal against this decision to the Planning Inspectorate, and this was dismissed on 21 December 2018:
